The Evolution and Phylogeny of the Early Diapsida

Academic Profile

After an extended gap year (1977-2010!) I finally made it to university as an undergraduate at UCL where I have recently completed my M.Sci in Palaeobiology.

Current Research

My main interests are in phylogenetics and evolution. My research will focus on the evolution of the early diapsid reptiles, principally using cladistics techniques to shed light on areas lacking in general consensus. I hope to illustrate the adaptive response to environmental factors which lead to the radiation of diapsid clades towards the end of the Permian, particularly in respect  to the marine reptiles that went on to dominate the Mesozoic oceans.
