Academic Profile

As a community ecologist, I’m interested in understanding the processes that shape the structure, interactions, and functioning of plant and animal communities. My DPhil research focuses on the restoration of plant-pollinator systems, with an emphasis on using network-based approaches to evaluate restoration success. I am currently working on three chapters: (1) a systematic map of the literature on restoring plant-pollinator systems; (2) a field-based study on the restoration of plant-pollinator networks in UK calcareous grasslands; and (3) an analysis of restoration outcomes for plant and pollinator communities in invaded ecosystems in the Seychelles.
