I studied Chemistry at the University of Glasgow, obtaining my integrated Masters in 2021. Along the way I also studied Maths for a year and Molecular Biology for two. Having decided to shift focus to Earth Science, I went on a volcanology summer school with GeoTenerife in the Canary Islands in August 2022, which set me on my volcanology path today.
Current Research
I am studying the volcanism, sedimentation and hydrothermal activity of Santorini, specifically looking at how the lava composition has changed over the last 3 thousand years and understanding the extent to which hydrothermal activity plays a role in the island's volcanism.
